DESCRIPTION:Join us for an exciting virtual roundtable with Patrick Cozier, Phil Denton, Allana Gay and Rhys Howells, where we will develop policy and practice recommendations to improve supply teaching for schools/colleges and early years settings, the supply teaching workforce and system overall.\nOur FED Partners have said how important it is for our Education Workforce to be energised, empowered, well equipped and valued with a clear sense of purpose. We believe a whole-system, strategic, long-term approach is needed to the recruitment and retention of our education profession. This should also apply to our Supply Teaching workforce. During this FEDSpace, we will explore the challenges and opportunities surrounding cover and supply teaching across all our educational settings and consider the following questions:\n\nHow can we create a more empowered and engaged supply teaching workforce?\nWhat would a national plan for Supply Teaching look like that works for teachers, education settings and the system overall?\n\n
