This involves embedding inclusive practices from the outset to ensure every learner thrives in a supportive and diverse environment. Specifically:\n\nA Reflective Curriculum: The curriculum must mirror the diversity of society, representing groups that have been historically racially minoritised, LGBTQ+ communities, and individuals with disabilities.\nDiverse Perspectives Across Subjects: Integrating global issues and cultural diversity is vital across all subjects, with areas like literature and history offering immediate opportunities for transformation.\nCommunity-Driven Learning: A well-rounded curriculum should leverage local assets, spotlight community opportunities, and inspire students to contribute meaningfully to their surroundings.\nCombatting Disengagement: Learners have voiced feeling underrepresented in curricula and assessments, leading to disengagement.
